Oh my I loved it. Rykal and Arin are excellent together. I loved the adventure, battles, word play, climax, plot and destination in this story weaved by Ms. Carven. The story resumes from the point of view of Rykal, Torin, Kain, Arin and the other humans rescued from Fortunea Tau. The suspense action, and excitement in this book as they battle the Xargek on the battleship, wait for negotiations from federation idiots as they fight for survival. I enjoy all of the Kordolian action series books, the writing here is fierce and I am looking forward to all of the First Division getting books and loves of their own.
I love this series! As much as I tried to put this book down to stretch out the enjoyable reading time, I found it almost impossible. I've particularly enjoyed the ones featuring First Division warriors - this one was another fascinating one. I like the mix of smart, sharp female with a strong male who's surprised to find he's drawn to the female. Each male has had his own backstory which is revealed as the story evolves.

I like the internal analysis they each do of the attraction they feel - its not overdone, its reallistic - sometimes humerous or tender. I like dilemma & action scenes - they're exciting & well-drafted. Ditto the sex scenes - the timing makes sense in the story sequencing & there's no angst revolving around sex.

I hope to read Kail's story soon - I love grumpy, scarred big guys.
When I saw she published another book in the series, I rushed to buy it! Her books never fail to please me, and this one was no different.

Again she presents strong characters and in depth sexual scenes without being overwhelming. There is a lot of story, which I enjoy in a romance novel. It's not all fluff, there is fighting, sex, and overall just trying to stay alive in the dangerous realm of space. Rykal is plenty dark and very thrilling! If I could be Arin, I would. She's a tough soldier, but she melts when Rykal is near.
fanfreakintastic! This book had some seriously dark elements and surprises, but the main characters were so joy to get to know. This book was exciting from beginning to end, boy was it ever the horror of what happened, no spoilers. Needless to say I miss the General and the new homestead, but we need these characters to have their story to make the homestead and it's leadership work it's all there for us to see if we look. Yeah this series is coming to gather very nicely very nicely indeed. Another glad tidings is that the books are getting longer more evolved that is what I wanted to see, now for more babies and pets, yeah yeah ever demanding. I recommend this series, start at the beginning and catch up if you haven't started. Enjoy. I think this couple is my fave so far.
Once again I have to write about the series Dark Planet warriors. And once again I have to sing the praises of this series. The storyline is a well integrated series about a group of Kordolian warriors who have come to deal with a plague of insects that are on the brink of attacking Earth. Nasty giant insect that can only be killed by the Dark Planet Warriors. Only Earth has to give them permission to save them and to do that, they (the Earth) must have a meeting to decide if they want to be saved. Anyone who has been in a committee meeting can guess the rest.

Rural and Arin are trying to survive ten bad guys and the bugs. What I like about this series is that while the is a consistent storyline throughout each of the stories, each book deals with a different hero and heroine. To say much more is to give away the good stuff and interfer with the plot of this story, so you are on your own from now on. Happy reading.
I have been intrigued by Rykal since the first time he was glimpsed in the first book in Arin's glaring face and smirking down at her. I have always known that they were a perfect couple, and Ms. Carven has proved me right. This was a wild, sensuous, and sensual ride. The author blends action, adventure, romance, and erotica perfectly. But even more importantly her writing is rock - solid and well done. This author's writing style and Kordolian series is without a doubt one of my favorites. I look forward to each of her books, and we have been so incredibly fortunate to have an author who has been rocking on steadily and bringing us almost one book a month. This is just another wonderful installment in the Kordolian Chronicles, and with each book we come across even more characters that we want to know more intimately.
