I love a good romantic suspense and LA Cataldo delivered with Jason and Bella's story. This was my first time reading anything by LA Cataldo, and I was pleasantly surprised that a debut author crafted such a gripping and twisty tale. Bella's backstory is heartbreaking, but then she meets the amazingly hot and protective Jason, who just so happens to be CEO of her company. Their love story was emotional, hot, and one I couldn't put down. Add in one crazy stalker and heart-pounding suspense and you've got one winner of a novel.

I would've liked Dark Past to have been a little more drawn out, but that's only because I'm a selfish reader and enjoyed it so much I wanted Jason and Bella to stick around a little while longer. I am anxiously awaiting Cataldo's next release so I can power read through another book to find out what happens next. If romance, suspense, intrigue, sexiness, and all around FEELS are your thing....you need to one-click this book right now. You won't be sorry.

I loved the book. Held my interest. Can't wait for the next one.
Not one who is usually into romance novels, this book was one I could not put down. Just enough terrifying action and graphic descriptions, this book made my heart thump in some spots and as much as I hate to admit it, my eyes well up with tears in others. A must read from a talented author who made me expand my reading horizons.
I give this book a 2.5 stars.
I liked the first few chapters, but put it down for over 2 months. Too much telling and the scenes were not developed enough.
The dialogue needs polishing. Conversations did not seem genuine. People don't say each others names so much in conversation. It became annoying.
With a quality editor, I feel this author's work could get better. There's definite potential and I would read her future work.
This was a great story that will keep you on the edge of your seat with what will happen next. i laughed and cried and wanted to jump in and help the couple out during their traumatic times. Jason and Isabella are perfect for each other. This is a new author for me but I can truly say that I cant wait to read more of her work.
This book was ultimate! Absolutely a good read. The entire time it kept me on my toes wondering what was going to happen next. I absolutely could not put the book down for one second! I even took it to the ladies room with me. The only thing I found was that she needs a new editor for sure. Otherwise I found the book mysterious and luring to the next seen. It had me snickering the entire time! It was amazing! I cannot wait till the other book comes out because it left me hanging in the breeze, as in what's going to happen next. Hurry....I must read!
Even though paranormal is not my first to go to I have to say this book keep my attention. I was drawn to the fact that she was a witch that was being trained to be a Light keeper. What could be better than that? Having a hot guardian to be there to watch over you. And boy does Willa have one in Braeden. I love the action and the characters in this book. Amy Manemann is a new to me author but I will definitely be checking out book #2.
This is not just an ordinary run of the mill romance. It's dark and sexy and thrilling! From page one you fall in love with the main character Bella! Within The first few pages you also Meet my new heart throb Jason. He has this strange magnetism that charms you like he's pulling from the page.
The unpredictable plot keeps the pages turning and the personalities of the people are so realistic you feel part of this world.
The chemistry between this couple is so hot and so endearing and the nail biting suspense makes their love affair legend! Five stars for sure this book was amazing!
