This story was a bit slow to grab my attention, however the story is so original I am glad I kept reading. The story built and built, to the point I had trouble putting 3rd book down. There were just enough twists in the story I didn't see coming. The ending was so good. It allowed me to forgive the slow start.

Each book was better than the last. I appreciated that the story was completely tied up by the end. I'll definitively be reading more of this authors books in the future.
I read a lot of Young Adult trilogies, usually starting with the free first book on . Usually the series are mediocre and predictable but entertaining. The Spellbound Series, however, was more than entertaining. It was well written and super unpredictable! Being an avid reader of these types of series, I was pleasantly surprised by much of the plot in these books and I just wish there were more to read!
I love the imagination in this series. Adding this one to my daughter's reading list. I would recommend these books.

I enjoyed the character development, especially in our more villainous characters.

Loved this whole series, I found it easy to read and I loved all of the twists. I luke Adrian from thw beginning I had a feeling he would end up as a good guy. Raj and Lee are amazing not to mention Graylee. The ending was perfect and left nothing unanswered.
The first book of the series is definitely the best. Characters are plain and don't evolve, but it's well written and makes for good entertainment if you are not looking for deeper things. A nice twist on stories about Young witches.
The first book was free and I really enjoyed it so of course I had to get the rest of the series. But they were a little disappointing. It's as if the author put all their effort in the first book and after it met with some success she coasted through the next 2 books. Not as edgy or exciting but overall a good book.
